DESCRIPTION:This is a friendly reminder that the deadline to receive applications for the 2024 «La Serena School for Data Science: Applied Tools for Data-driven Sciences» is approaching.\n\nWe will accept applications until March 31. The school is a great opportunity for students to learn statistical and computational tools for working in the «Big Data» paradigm. The school will be hosted during August 19-29. The school is aimed to advanced undergraduate and early graduate students in Astronomy\, Physics\, Statistics\, Math\, Computer Science\, Biology and related fields. Students currently in Chilean\, US and Latin American institutions are eligible for full or partial scholarships.
